INFORMATION FOR CAMPERS

Campers will have access to a large field, and wooded area on the property for tent or hammock camping. Shower is available in the Pole Barn. Please keep showers to 10 minutes to preserve hot water for others (small tank). Please bring your own towels and toiletries. Porto potty will be available near camp area. Indoor toilet available in the Pole Barn. Note: the handle sticks! Please make sure the handle is returned to original position. Many electrical outlets available in the Horse Barn and Pole Barn for charging devices. Other outlets scattered throughout site. Running water for refilling large containers available from sink in Pole Barn or hose spigots. As this is a location in rural PA, wildlife is always present.Please be mindful of food storage methods as black bears (generally non-aggressive) are known to frequent the area. All food should be kept in tightly sealed containers and hung up and away from immediate campsite, when not being consumed. Keeping noise levels somewhat elevated will help deter bear activity. Fire safety is paramount! All fires should be in the designated fire pit. Any coals used for cooking must be drenched after cooking is completed. No open flames in or near wooded areas are permitted. Summer in PA means some bees may be present. Please take appropriate precautions. Let us know if you are allergic! There is always the possibility for inclement weather so please pack for the chance of rain! We will be watching the forecast closely.

Room rates are $179/ night for King and $189/ night for 2 Queens. There are also airbnb / vrbo and booking.com options nearby. We encourage you to explore all options! Camping on the property is also available. Please see the Q &amp; A section for more information on that. By plane: You will fly into Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The wedding is in Franklin, PA. About 90 minutes north west of Pittsburgh. We are not currently able to offer shuttle service to and from the airport. So we encourage guests to book a rental car (parking is available on site at the wedding) or look to carpool. By train: Amtrak offers train service to both Pittsburgh and Erie, PA. Both options are about 90 minutes drive from the wedding site. Quality Inn &amp; Conference Center is located in Franklin, 28 miles from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. The 3-star inn has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. TRAVEL

Dan and Gabi met the way many modern couples do these days... online! They both swiped right on Tinder, and within a few days had scheduled their first phone call. That lead to nightly calls of multiple hours, for two weeks, until their first date. The old cliche is true in this case, when they met it felt like they'd known each other their whole lives..throughout the many lives they each have lived. That sense of being kindred spirits was instant and has remained an ever present force in their relationship. Dan and Gabi are both so grateful to have found each other. They are ecstatic to move forward, as a unit, through life together. They feel their love is a blessing, and it's one they intend to revel in for the rest of their days.

Our wedding will take place on the Summer Solstice. With that theme in mind, guests are encouraged to wear comfortable fabrics, with earthy colors, or florals. Key is to wear something you can dance in!! Please note the event will have both indoor and outdoor elements, in a semi rustic setting. There will be some areas with slightly uneven ground. Please wear comfortable shoes or bring a second pair! Temperatures during the day are expected to be in 80s and cool down to 50s or 60s at night. We encourage guests to bring layers. If it rains we will keep the party indoors and under tents.
